1986
Fāng 方 mengalami kondisi tubuh yang memburuk dan muncul benjolan mencurigakan. Dokter menduga tumor ganas. Ia menolak operasi karena keterbatasan biaya.
1987
Kesehatan semakin menurun. Fāng 方 mulai mempelajari pengobatan tradisional Tiongkok dan mencari alternatif penyembuhan alami.
1988
Setelah ke China dan meracik ramuan herbal sendiri, ia mulai pulih. Ramuan tersebut menunjukan hasil luar biasa.
1989
Sebagai bentuk syukur, ramuan itu dinamai Chang Sheuw Tian Ran Ling Yao—Obat Panjang Umur, Anugerah dari Alam. Inilah awal mula lahirnya Daun Teratai.
Sejak tahun 2001, produk Daun Teratai telah melalui berbagai uji mulai dari uji Kuersetin di Fakultas Farmasi Institut Teknologi Bandung, uji toksisitas, dan penelitian ilmiah di Fakultas Farmasi UGM dan RS Kanker Dharmais, membuktikan keamaan dan efektivitasnya. Diakui oleh Muslimat NU dan berbagai lembaga profesional, Daun Teratai juga menerima sejumlah penghargaan nasional atas kontribusinya dalam pengobatan herbal.
