Champagne Philipponnat Royale Réserve Brut is the quintessential signature blend of the House, embodying centuries of winemaking heritage in Mareuil-sur-Ay. Composed predominantly of Pinot Noir backed by Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, it utilizes a high proportion of reserve wines and partial malolactic fermentation to achieve a flawless balance of structure, vinosity, and persistent freshness.

Deep gold in colour with amber glints. Delicate froth, lively and lingering.

Nose

:

The first nose reveals vine blossom, linden and fresh, lightly toasted bread. After breathing, aromas of summer berries, citrus fruit and honey develop.

Taste

:

Fine vinous attack on the palate, fruity (redcurrant, raspberry, ripe grape) and fullbodied, generous and long. Light notes of biscuit and freshly baked bread on the finish.

Finish

:

Clean, long, and refreshingly dry, leaving a lingering, elegant echo of fruit and citrus freshness.

Nose

The first nose reveals summer berries with notes of cherry and wild strawberry. Notes of citrus and grapefruit peel develop with time.

The attack is elegant and pure. Full and ample on the palate, with good acidity and a light astringency that brings out the fruitiness.

Finish

Bright, slightly coppery gold with a generous, creamy foam.

Nose

Expressive and ripe with notes of yellow fruit and peach, with a lightly toasted aroma.

Taste

:

The palate is ample with notes of ripe fruit – peach and mango – and barley sugar. The finish is fresh and slightly minty but also supple.
